South West Forum in partnership with BSWN, Locality and Voscur are offering a two-day training in ‘VOICE’ a discussion-based tool specifically designed to help community groups and networks:

 

  • explore what ‘influence’ is
  • discuss and record how influential they feel
  • plot and evidence how influential they are
  • plan how to increase their influence
  •  

    The course is specifically designed for people who already have some group work and facilitation skills

    Day One will take you through the ‘Voice’ framework – what it looks like and how it works

    Day Two will explore the ways in which you can work with Voice and support the groups that you work with to become more influential

    You will also receive a comprehensive resource pack to help you to use Voice in the future

    What does it cost?

    The full cost of the course is £340 per person (excluding administration costs) but we are offering it at £50‐200 on a subsidised basis depending on your organisation's income. Please contact Debra Horide E: debra@southwestforum.org.uk or Tel  for further information and to book a place.

    We do not want cost to be a barrier to your participation, so if you are facing particular financial difficulties and the fee is a problem, please contact us.

    We (BSWN) have two sponsored free places for BME led organisations, on first come, first serve basis please contact sado@bswn.org.uk

    Cost includes lunch and a resource pack. Delegates must book their own accommodation.
