This Career Development Workshop aims to provide participants with the opportunity to stop, reflect and take stock of their careers to date in order to become more proactive in managing their future work and career choices.
By the end of the workshop delegates will:
- Have had the opportunity to reflect on their career history, choices and pathways.
- Have identified what stage they are at in their careers in order to inform future options and choices.
- Be aware of their ‘Career Anchor’ and considered how this may influence their future career options, choices and quality of life.
- Have an awareness of how Race and other diversity issues can help or hinder career progression
- Have considered the key actions they can take to begin managing their careers by starting to outline a career development plan
