FATA HE is a West African word which means ‘Inclusion’ and was established in 2001 to redress social and economic inequalities relating to Black and Minority Ethnic (B&ME) individuals, families and groups within the city of Plymouth.

Since becoming incorporated as a Limited Company (Social Enterprise) in 2003, Fata He has become an umbrella organisation for other B&ME individuals and groups, and works closely with other local, sub-regional and regional organisations.

Citizens Advice

The majority of our advisers are trained volunteers, helping people to resolve over 5.5 million problems every year.

South West Regional Development Agency

We lead the development of a sustainable economy in the South West, investing to unlock the region's business potential.

In the current challenging economic circumstances, we are working hard with our regional partners to develop or expand a number of initiatives to help businesses and the wider economy respond to these testing times and then chart a course for recovery.

South West Regional Strategy ChangeUp Database

The primary function of this database is to view the Contact Information, Budgets and Workplans of the organisations and Consortia participating in ChangeUp in the South West.

Equality South West

We started work in March 2005 supported by the South West Regional Development Agency and Government Office for the South West.

Working with partners across the region we aim to tackle discrimination on the grounds of age, disability, gender, race, religion or belief, sexual orientation and transgender. We are supporting dedicated regional networks for each of these seven strands.

ESW is also working with other groups for asylum seekers, migrant workers and gypsies and travellers.

Linking Communities

Linking Communities is a BME Network set up to support the development of the BME Voluntary Sector in Gloucestershire.

Black Development Agency

Black Development Agency empowers Black and Minority Ethnic communities by building up the skills, ability and capacity to enable a sustainable Black Voluntary Community and Social Enterprise Sector.
