Number Games:Race Equality and the Big Society- Bristol Screening
Number Games: Race Equality and the Big Society + Q&A
Cuts to public spending will have a huge impact on ethnic minorities while organisations that exist to fight for equality are losing financial support. In these hard times we ask: can the Big Society be a racially ust society? Released to mark 30 years since the Brixton riots, this investigative documentary sees Dr Rob Berkeley - Director of Runnymead Trust the UK’s leading Race equality think tank - explore how ethnic minority groups in the US are making the Big Society work for them, and asks whether similar groups in the UK can do the same.
Followed by a Q&A discussion with Dr Berkely
