Community Voices

Under the Community Voices project, communities around England are making a positive difference to their lives by using creative digital media. The project was launched by Media Trust, and supports communities with start up funding, volunteer mentors and training.

This year Community Voices is being funded by Nominet Trust and will be supporting communities across the UK who feel voiceless due to disability, older age, or long term illness. Applications are now open - apply here

In previous years the project has supported a variety of communities across the country all with different issues they wanted to address. The stories of how digital media has changed seven of these groups are told in a 50-minute documentary, Community Voices, which you can watch online on Community Channel.
